With a mash bill of 100% Rye to capture a 100% bold, spice flavor profile, this whisky is perfect for both drinking neat or mixing in cocktails. Tasting notes
Nose: Fresh cinnamon, black peppercorn, a hint of tangerine and grapefruit zest. Palate: Powerfully spicy, with cocoa, cardamom and cured leather flavors. Finish: Wonderfully lengthy, with baking spices, vanilla and hints of citrus.
About the distillery
Founded in 2007 on a 500-acre farm in Shoreham, Vermont, WhistlePig set out to redefine rye whiskey. What began with sourcing aged Canadian rye soon evolved into a fully independent distillery, where every step - from grain to glass - is handled on-site. Using homegrown rye, pure spring water, and barrels made from Vermont oak, WhistlePig’s “triple terroir” approach produces bold, spicy, and complex whiskies. With its signature copper stills and playful pig-themed spirit, WhistlePig continues to lead the revival of American rye.
