Promoter The promoter is The Whisky Experience Pty Limited ABN 49 668 942 649  (“the Promoter”).

Eligibility

• Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over.

• Employees, immediate family members, and contractors of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.

• The competition is subject to all applicable laws in New South Wales and Australia.

Competition Period

• Entries open from the time of the promotional post on 11th August 2025

• Entries close Sunday, 1 September 2025 at 11:59 PM AEST (“Closing Date”).

• No entries will be accepted after the Closing Date.

How to Enter

• To enter the promotion, the entrant must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:

  1. Follow the Promoter on Instagram or Facebook;

  2. Like the competition post;

  3. Tag one friend (aged 18+) in the comments of the competition post.​

Entries Permitted

• You may enter multiple times, provided each entry is a new, unique comment and tags a different friend. Each qualifying comment counts as one

• entry. Bonus entry: Share the competition post to your public story and tag the Promoter. Bonus entries are only valid where the tag is visible.

Prize

• One (1) winner will receive a Private Whisky Tasting for up to 10 people, guided by a whisky specialist.

• Prize value: AUD $890.

• Tasting to be held at a Sydney metropolitan location provided/arranged by the winner.

• Prize includes whisky and use of glassware only. Travel outside the Sydney Metro area, venue hire, catering, and any additional costs are not included.

• The prize is not transferable, refundable, or exchangeable for cash.

Winner Selection & Notification

• The winner will be randomly drawn on Wednesday, 4 September 2025 at 7pm AEST.

• The winner will be announced on the Promoter’s Instagram or Facebook page and contacted via direct message.

• The winner must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize. If no response is received, the Promoter reserves the right to select a new winner.

General Conditions 

• This competition is a game of chance; skill plays no part in determining the winner.

• The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are incomplete, indecipherable, or not received due to technical disruptions or other reasons beyond its control.

Liability 

• Participants enter at their own risk. The Promoter is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage incurred as a result of entering or winning this competition.

• The winner and their guests must comply with all responsible service of alcohol laws and regulations.

Privacy

• By entering, participants consent to the Promoter using their name, social media handle, and entry for promotional purposes without further payment or approval.

• Any personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Meta, Facebook, or Instagram. Participants release these platforms from any liability arising from the competition.
