Writers’ Tears is a premium Irish whiskey brand produced by Walsh Whiskey, an independent distillery based in County Carlow, Ireland. Established in 1999 by Bernard and Rosemary Walsh, the brand was inspired by the golden era of Irish whiskey and the rich literary tradition of the country. Writers’ Tears pays tribute to iconic Irish authors like Yeats and Joyce, who were known to enjoy a dram of pot still whiskey.
